A Glimpse into Our Most Recent Projects
Photographing for Bona Casa was an incredibly special experience. This family-owned Italian restaurant has been a cornerstone of the Cumberland community since 1957, known for its heartfelt hospitality and time-honored recipes. My goal was to capture the essence of what makes this place so beloved, from the rich textures of handmade ravioli (which they spend hours preparing) to the warmth of their signature sauce bubbling on the stove. Every detail spoke to the care and tradition behind the food. The owners welcomed me so kindly, I felt like part of the family from the moment I walked in. It was an honor to document a space filled with such deep roots, heart, and heritage.
I recently wrapped a tasty project with Wisconsin Cheese Company, photographing their cheese curds and gift boxes for their website. The goal was to create clean, inviting visuals that highlight both product variety and thoughtful packaging. We kept things warm and natural, giving a sense of authenticity that reflects the brand’s Wisconsin roots. I love collaborating with food brands that value both presentation and storytelling—this project was a perfect blend of both.
For this month’s Madison Magazine, I had the chance to photograph Ahan’s creative ube offerings, from soft-serve to vibrant pastries. Known for bold, Southeast Asian flavors, Ahan brought a fun and visually stunning twist to this beloved ingredient. My goal was to highlight the rich color, texture, and artistry behind each dish. It was a pleasure capturing their playful approach to food and flavor.
